I created an awareness campaign for Alzheimers in partnership with Age UK during my second year of A Level Graphic Communication. I chose to use the ratio of 2/3 image and 1/3 text for all of my posters as this made each element to stand out as opposed to parts of the image being lost behind the text. I highlighted the word 'Me' within Alzheimers to emphasise that the disease can occur within anyone and though it is more common in over 65's it is not limited to that age category. I used a slightly distorted typeface to emphasise that with Alzheimers a persons memory is largely together but also distorted.
